Uğur Zengin, architect and founding partner of Yaklaşım Mimarlık, has worked in the architecture sector for many years.
The journey that began with Parktur, founded in 2006, grew with Zen Mimarlık, founded in 2014; in 2019 Uğur Zengin brought both companies together under a joint-stock company.

Şenol Bayır, the other founding partner of Yaklaşım Mimarlık, has spent some forty years working from military infrastructure through to the defence industry, from public investments to international hotel projects at senior level.

This experience gives Yaklaşım Mimarlık not only design capability but also buildability, cost management and an investor's perspective.
Over some forty years of professional life, Şenol Bayır has held executive roles in the defence industry, public investments, facility management, international construction and hotel projects, specialising in project management, operations, corporate structuring, tender management and business development. In recent years, working at senior level on international hotel and superstructure projects, he has developed a management model that effectively bridges design and delivery. This experience is what turns Yaklaşım Mimarlık into an organisation that not only designs its projects but successfully brings them to life. His career spans a broad range of experience, from infrastructure projects to facility management, from the defence industry to international construction.
With some twenty years of professional experience in architecture, interior architecture, urban design and engineering projects, Uğur Zengin has led numerous projects with an approach that brings together aesthetics, function and sustainability. He founded Parktur in 2006 and Zen Mimarlık in 2014, uniting the two under a single roof in 2019 to form a corporate architectural vision. His human- and nature-centred understanding of design forms the core design culture of Yaklaşım Mimarlık today.
